There are many additional things to consider and it requires some creativity, reimagining and redesigning, all while keeping the integrity of the program intact. Join Michelle Cummings for an hour of learning and laughing as she demonstrates multiple Virtual Team Building Activities.

  • What is the correct board structure for a Not for Profit camp? Policy and Governance only? Operational? What does that even mean, and what's the appropriate mix? And who gets to decide, anyway? As a Chartered Director, I may have some guidance you'll find helpful as you navigate these questions.

  • A fundraising plan is how you raise the money you spend. It is often confused with a budget, which is how you spend the money you raise. Both documents work in conjunction with one another. You likely have a budget, but do you have a good fundraising plan? This workshop will help you look back and see the way forward. Using a refreshed step-by-step toolkit, this workshop will show you how to create a plan: * Built on God's provision and embedded with an appreciation for the generosity of your champions* Using meaningful methods and measures* You can live with and work with year after year

  • We know that that our ability to effectively pursue our mission, is to develop effective teams. These 6 tasks, or foundations may not be all we need for effective teams, but they are necessary, and a good place to start.

    Program Development

  • In times of crisis so many organizations circle the wagons and protect when they should be expanding their voice and enhancing their brand. It does not matter whether you are pushing into, pausing, or pivoting during a crisis this time of uncertainty is ripe for your organization to be recognized for what it is. Your brand is who you are and what you stand for. Difficult seasons are the best time to work on your brand as people are looking and watching for an organization that responses authentically as it should in times of need. Redeem your time and learn some key strategic principles on how to practically enhance your brand. The long-term payoff of investing in your brand rarely finds such fertile soil as a crisis.
    Program Development

  • As we emerge from the acute challenges of the pandemic, it is important to 1) discern where Jesus is leading, 2) to reevaluate the assumptions that were used to develop your current strategy, 3) to test whether the assumptions are still valid, and 4) to determine how best to recalibrate your intentions and your plans in response to meet your program impact and revenue expectations. Basically, what should get your attention right now to improve clarity and focus for your board, staff, volunteers, and the people you serve? Chris will introduce you to a five step process you can do with your team immediately.

  • As this pandemic progresses into yet another month, many of us have had to contend with new realities and new challenges that meet us in our ministry. I remember reading a comment on David as he battled his enemies all around, “David grew weary...and one of the giants who was armed with a new sword thought to kill him” (2 Samuel 21:15 & 16). In our world that depends on so many factors out of our control, the giant called Worry is ever ready with his new sword to capitalize on our weariness to take us down. This session hopes to give you perspective on this thing called Worry, to recognize where the weariness comes from, and to understand that new swords are often wielded by old giants who can indeed be defeated.
