Staying Gospel-Centric in a Secular Society

As society becomes increasingly post-Christian, there is pressure on faith-based camps to change their mission to something more palatable to non-believers. How do we proclaim the good news about Jesus without being judgmental, narrow-minded, or pushy? How do we invite non-church children to our camps, make them feel accepted for who they are and what they believe, and still introduce them to God’s love and forgiveness? How do we avoid “mission drift”? How do we balance the demands of parents, staff, boards, and society? Let’s talk about it!
